Biography
Dr. Ashalatha., M.Sc., in Biotechnology from Bangalore University, Ph.D., from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka., is working as Assistant professor in the department of Biotechnology, Acharya Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India since 2007. Has fourteen years of teaching and research experience, teaching both UG and PG students. She has published more than 12 International research papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences in various field of life science. She as attended various workshops, hands-on training programs, seminars, guest lectures, pedagogy programs, FDP’s and also organized three National conferences on recent issues in Nano science and Biotechnology. Is a life member of ISTE, ISEIS and IAENG. She is been honored with best paper presentation awards for her presentation in the National conference. She as extensive knowledge and proficiency in project management and process improvement. Excellent organizational and management skills, with experience in mentoring and supervising junior colleagues and managing small budgets. Excellent communicator of research to a wide audience.
